Is Yuniarto is one of the prominent young comic artist in Indonesia. His comics has been successfully published in Indonesia and Japan. Is had won the prestigious Wacom Vehicle Design Award in 2010 as well as became one of the top ten finalists at Stan Lee’s Superhero Contest. His comic works include Wind Rider (winner of 2005 Komikasia Award in three different categories), Garudayana (one of the most successful manga comic in Indonesia), and Spirit of Nusantara.

Is has a Visual Communication Design degree from Universitas Kristen Petra, Surabaya. Besides continuing his works in comic arts, Is also teaches Comic/Sequential Arts major in several universities in Surabaya.
